Thomas Baker: We primarily install fiber and phone systems. We got into the schools about two years ago and started looking for something that we can help keep them safe, with the things that went on in the Uvalde, the shootings nationwide, we were asked by schools to get them help. That’s when we started looking at Status Solutions.
One of the things I can tell you that I have found with Status Solutions and getting to know all the people, along with our people, we have a passion for safety and protecting lives.
WHY STATUS SOLUTIONS NETWORK?
Thomas Baker: When I found out what we can do with the panic buttons, and the different things that Status (Solutions) does, I felt like we could take our phones and our security, what we do for schools to a whole other level. And it’s been amazing on what we’ve been able to. Every conversation we’ve had with a school, we use our phones and your panic buttons as an all-in-one solution, and it’s been amazing. I can’t tell you a school that will not talk, or at least listen, when we start talking about safety, panic and phones. So it’s been amazing, they go hand-in-hand.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A FRANCHISE OWNER?
Thomas Baker: One of the great things about being a part of this solution is going into a school and knowing when you make a sale, this could be a life or death sale. This is not, well my phone may or may not work today or what do we do, this is literally being a part of the planning for the safety of children.
WHY BECOME A FRANCHISE OWNER?
Thomas Baker: I would tell you, if you came on board, it’s more than just making money, it’s satisfaction, it’s knowing that you are doing something truly for the safety of children and lives, and nothing can compete with that. Money’s great, but knowing that you made schools safer in the end, that’s an awesome feeling I’ll tell you.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Thomas Baker: So they’ve done a very good job of making sure I understood what we’re doing, what the process is, how we get paid, how we sell the memberships, and what we’re able to do from there. So they’ve done a thorough job, an excellent job. Cassie and her group, letting us know from the marketing side what we do and coming on board. So they’ve done a very good job of bringing us on, letting us know what the expectations were, and how to move forward with each customer.
