Meet Jake Lamson & Melanie Volgershyten – Advocating for Revere Local Schools
Jake Lamson and Melanie Volgershyten are proud to be part of the team working to strengthen Revere Local Schools through the Status Solutions Network. By connecting local businesses with the school district, they’re helping to provide essential funding and support that can make a lasting impact on students’ safety and success. Jake, a recent graduate of Ohio University with a background in political science and international studies, is excited to build relationships within the community and contribute to a mission he deeply believes in. Melanie, a passionate political science and pre-law student, brings a unique perspective to her work—having spent nearly six years as a part-time teacher, she understands the real challenges schools face and is committed to helping address them.
For both Jake and Melanie, this work is personal. They care deeply about education and are honored to play a role in giving Revere students the resources and support they deserve.
